Following Luke Daly’s recognition for innovation in asbestos at the 2024 FAMANZ Scientific Conference, we have upgraded our fire truck with a state-of-the-art screw compressor, made possible through the generous support of Active Environmental Solutions. This upgrade transforms the vehicle into a rapid-response unit capable of immediate encapsulation for asbestos and other contaminants.
By eliminating the need for additional equipment hire, this innovation allows us to respond swiftly to emergencies, such as total-loss burnt properties, significantly reducing fibre release risks. It’s a tangible example of how we leverage cutting-edge technology to enhance safety and protect the community.
